What to Expect

Our goal at MVBC is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ through traditional, heart-felt worship and a lifestyle of service to others. We consider it a privilege to make ourselves available to you and your family, and would appreciate the opportunity to get to know you better.

Your first visit to Mountain Vista will be refreshing and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful preaching & teaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcomed. Here are a few things that will help make your first visit to Mountain Vista a great experience.

Quality Nursery Care

At every service there are safe, clean, and well trained staff and volunteers to care for children 0 to 3 years of age.

Exciting Classes For Kids

From start to finish, we strive to make your families’ time with us a great experience! We seek to make this your child’s favorite day of the week. We use skilled volunteers, fun activities, and excellent environments to communicate the timeless knowledge of our loving God. We believe this makes our children’s ministry a place your child will be begging you to bring them back to each week! Classes and Jr. Church take place every Sunday morning at 10:00 am and 11:00 am, and Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm.

Student Ministry

Our Student Ministry meets every Sunday at 10:00 AM. We focus heavily on teaching practical Bible lessons and building strong relationships with God, parents, and friends. Student Ministry is the best place to meet friends, learn the Bible, and have an awesome time. We teach on topics that deal with dating, parents, school, future career, image, and so many other relevant topics.

How Should I Dress?

At Mountain Vista Baptist Church, we don’t have a dress code. A lot of people will wear their best clothes out of respect for the Lord. However, every person’s best is different. There are also people that you will see who are dressed casual and comfortable. We want you to dress in a way that you will feel comfortable.

Am I Going To Be Asked To Give Money?

During every worship service at Mountain Vista we give an opportunity for the members and regular attenders of the church to give money to help fund the ministry. We see that the Bible teaches us that this is an act of worship toward God. However, we ask that our guests not feel obligated to give anything. We want our service to be a gift to our guest without them feeling pressured to give anything. When you make Mountain Vista your home, then you can decide if you want to participate in this part of the ministry.

Questions?

We want you to have an amazing experience when you attend Mountain Vista Baptist Church. When you arrive there will be people to greet you, and hosts to show you where classes are. If you have any question, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to meeting you at an upcoming service.
